ARCHITECTURAL RESTORATION LTD COMPANY

 

Aktan Architectural Bureau was founded in  1973 by architect K. Kadriye  Aktan  and architect M.Fikri Aktan, since than, continued its services uninterruptedly up to today for 27 years. The activities of the company are in various areas which are listed below.

           

Our Activties for Public Benefit : (As a member of Çekül high consultancy board)

 

  • Representative at Kars City Council, 28/29 October 1999, presentation of an article titled; “Cultural heritage of  20th century / Ani Antic City for a Kars Progressing with Identity.“

 

  • Kafkas Stability Pact Delegate, 28 June 2000, presentation of an article titled; “Cultural searches within Tiflis / Bakü / Kars triangle and search for the marks of regional people on the culture and art at the Ani Antique City and its evaluation before Caucasian States Economic and Cultural Cooperation.” (In Turkish)

 

  • Historic Cities Union, Turkey activities for World Architecture and Residence Day, 30 September / 1 October 2000, Antakya, Turkey, presentation of an article titled; “ Research on Caucasian identity at Kars and Ani from the alloy of cultures and urban architecture perspective.“ (In Turkish).

1.         Yıldız Palace infrastructure master project

2.         Ankara Old Courthouse Building original design determination and restoration, (*This project received the appreciation of Ankara Committee for Protection of Cultural and Natural Wealth)

3.         Citadel of Antalya City Walls and Hadrian Door original design determination and restoration (*This project received the appreciation of Antalya Committee for Protection of Cultural and Natural Wealth)

4.         Citadel of Bayburt restoration

5.         Bayburt Kavallar House restoration

6.         Kars Ani Painted Chuch original design determination and restoration

7.         Kars Ani Caravanserai  Zamatun / original design determination and restoration

8.         Kars Ani Holly  Apostles Chuch original design determination and restoration

9.         Kars Ani Door with Lions original design determination and restoration

10.       Kastamonu Daday Köpekçioğlu Mansion  restoration (*This project received the appreciation of Ankara Committee for Protection of Cultural and Natural Wealth)

11.       Ayvalık late Byzantine classic Small Church /AIA ILIADA original design determination and restoration

12.       AYVALIK YACHT HARBOUR  built, operate, revolve project (construction and operation, investor-owner, with other partners).

 

 

ORIGINAL DESIGN DETERMINATION AND RESTORATION PROJECT FOR

THE MINISTRY OF FORESTS and NATURE;

 

  • Ankara Söğütözü In Forest Rest Place, ATATÜRK HOUSE and GUARD HOUSE ( K O L İ B A ) original design determination, restoration, display, organization and arrangement of surroundings project.  This project received the appreciation of Ankara Committee for Protection of Cultural and Natural Wealth.

1. Restoration and surroundings arrangement of ATATÜRK HOUSE and GUARD HOUSE ( K O L İ B A ) at the Ankara Söğütözü In Forest Rest Place 

2. Restoration of Ministry of Culture, İstanbul Emirgan Şerifler Waterside Mansion, 1997                

3. Restoration of Air Force 3rd Air Supply and Maintenance Center Command Headquarters Building and the main gate construction (1998 / Investment Cost: 171 220 300 126 TL)

 

OTHER PROFESSIONAL DESIGN AND PROJECT WORKS

 

Otokoç Ankara Facilities, Erzurum Nenehatun Student Dormitory (competition), Ağrı Private Administration Service Building, Devrek Municipality Palace and Trade Center,  Siirt Ziraat Bankası (Agricultural Bank) Central Building and Social Facilities, Kastamonu Cemilin Commercial Building and  Şekerbank  Business Center, Ankara Keçiören Cem Movie Theater,  Housing Development Applications of total 3400 houses for various cooperatives, Luxas in Ankara , Marmaris ,Denizli ,Milas and Didim, at Ankara Söğütözü 194 houses and shopping center for Retirement Fund Personnel and many other project and application works.

 

AKTAN ARCHITECTURE BUREAU strengthened its Academic Staff in 1998 employing Restoration Specialist Architect (Master), Landscape Architect (Master), Civil Engineer (Master) specialized on Memorial Buildings static’s and materials responses  and founded;

This new establishment carried out the Restoration of Air Force 3rd Air Supply and Maintenance Center Command Headquarters Building and the main gate construction project.

Since than ANI MEMORIAL BUILDINGS CONSERVATION, UTILIZATION AND CONSTRUCTION ARCHITECTURAL RESTORATION LTD COMPANY is developing and continuing its professional activities.
